Sara Buschkühl was born in Würzburg in 1980 and lives as a classical double bass player in Stockholm.

ARTSara Buschkühl has dedicated herself to the art of silhouette cutting since she was 18 years old and
thus gains a lot of attention among silhouette lovers at home and abroad.
Her works have been shown several times at exhibitions in Frankfurt/Main and Würzburg and have been published in various publications (Buchverlag P. Hellmund: "Gaulimauli"; Proprius: Rebaroque, "The Wolf Gang").
In addition, her commissioned and Ateljer works include portrait drawings, paintings and photography.
In addition to direct contact, a selection of silhouette originals has also been available since 2017 at liten lycka in Wuerzburg. Since 2005 numerous unique pieces of her freehand created motives have been sold.

MUSICSara Buschkühl studied double bass at the Hochschule für Musik u. darstellende Kunst Frankfurt a. Main, at
the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and the University of Music Freiburg i. Brsg,
where she received her artistic diploma in the class of Prof. Bozo Paradzik. Afterwards she completed the master class at the Stockholm Conservatory of Music.
Since 2010 she lives and works as a musician in Sweden, where she is regularly engaged by
leading Scandinavian orchestras such as the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Opera in Stockholm, the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and the Drottningholm Baroque Ensemble, and has worked with renowned conductors as Daniel Harding, Marc Minkowski, Herbert Blomstedt and Riccardo Muti.
Numerous concert appearances and tours have also taken her to Norway, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Poland, Germany and Croatia.
In addition, her special artistic interest lies in early music. So Sara Buschkühl is also
a sought-after interpreter of sacred and chamber music works and performs with renowned
Baroque ensembles at home and abroad (Drottningholms Barockensemble, Freiburger Barockorchester, Muenchner Bachsolisten).
In addition to CD recordings with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Baroque recordings for the Swedish Radio, she also recorded ABBA's globally anticipated new songs with Benny Andersson and Björn Ulveus in 2019.
